CPA turned COO. Founding team member of a category-defining ingredient company, from launch to $20M+ in revenue. Now I bring that same rigor to companies navigating their own messy middle.
My career started in audit and due diligence at boutique advisory firms serving Fortune 100 and PE clients. I spent my days buried in financial models, but I kept getting pulled into the conversations with founders and CEOs behind the numbers.
That led me to Tough Mudder, where I spent six years managing relationships with premier global outdoor venues and the municipalities and communities that hosted our events. During that time the company grew from 10 U.S. events to 55 worldwide, revenue scaled from $15M to $200M, and we were putting half a million participants through courses every year.
As founding team member and COO of Vertosa, a B2B ingredient technology company, I scaled the business from zero to over $20M in revenue and led the company to profitability, navigating a complex regulatory landscape and building the supply chain from scratch.
Now I partner with growth-stage companies to build sharper systems, align teams, and execute at scale.
For founding teams building the business alongside the product. I help put financial infrastructure in place early: unit economics, pricing architecture, COGS visibility, and the operating rhythms that let a small team make decisions with clarity instead of gut feel.
For companies where growth is creating more complexity than the organization can handle. I build the systems, hire the right leaders, and restructure what's not working so the business can scale without losing accountability. This includes P&L ownership, supply chain, team buildout, and portfolio simplification.
For companies that need to cut before they can rebuild. I help leadership teams make hard calls on headcount, product lines, and spending with financial precision, then rebuild the organization around what's actually working.
For work where execution matters more than polish. New market launches, partnership buildouts, executive recruiting, and interim COO/ops coverage during transitions.
Founders and leadership teams at companies with real traction who are navigating the shift from early momentum to durable scale, and need operational and financial rigor to keep up with their ambition.
I work fractionally or on a project basis, embedded with your team, with clear ownership and direct access to decision-making. This is for founders who want senior operational leadership without the commitment or risk of a full-time hire.
If misalignment or execution gaps are holding the business back, I help you move forward deliberately and with less guesswork.
Whether you're a founder hitting operational friction, a CEO looking for a thought partner, or a company in the middle of something messy, I'd like to hear about it.
